Of Valdosta passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1949 in Khorat, Thailand. Prior to her retirement she was a cook at Moody Air Force Base. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and gambling. She was a member of Santihan Temple of Augusta.
Survivors include: husband , Gerald Hollingsworth of Valdosta; daughter Joy Yoe and husband Barrett Storey of Lawrenceville, Georgia; son Douglas Hollingsworth of Norcross, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashlyn Hollingsworth, Emily Storey and Kaiden Hollingsworth; great grandchild Amiri Storey.
Memorialization will be by cremation and no formal services will be held. Kind words and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Sommai Hollingsworth family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
