Of Ray City, passed away Thursday morning, September 2, 2010 in the Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born April 16, 1936 in Mobile, Alabama to the late William Henry and Benice Tanner Knox. Stacy was formally of Bay St. Louis, MS and New Orleans where he was a mechanical contractor for NASAs John C. Stennis Space Center.

4 Grandchildren: Melanie Ann Daniel, Desiree Dawn Daniel, John Tanner Knox, & Julie Elizabeth Knox
4 Great-Grandchildren: Christopher Wayne Eriquezzo, Kyle Hendrick, Malorie Hope Eriquezzo, Gage Tanner Knox
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Roquemore Park in Lakeland, Georgia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA 31602.
