Of Thomson, GA passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1968 in Valdosta, GA to the late J.B. and June (Dill) Thomas. Stan owned and operated Stanster Associates providing OSHA training to public service officers. Having a love for public service, he was a certified peace officer in the state of Georgia and Texas and a certified paramedic. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Officers, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and Georgia Sheriffs' Association.. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dickie Thomas.
Survivors include his: Sister, Jeannie T. Slone of Hahira, GA; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Jerry & Wanda Thomas of Dearing, GA, Allen & Kim Thomas of Valdosta, GA and a number of nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 7, 2017 in the First Assembly of God, 1005 West Gordon St., Valdosta, GA 31601 where Pastor Joe Martinez will be officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
