Stanley Keith Creasy- 69
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at his residence. He was born to the late Franklin and Genevieve Creasy on March 11, 1955, in Thompson, Georgia. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his fathers-in-law: Billy Simpson and Ray Simpson. “Stan the Man” had a deep passion for car racing, the thrill of speed and competition fueling his excitement. He also enjoyed the peaceful challenge of fishing, always on the hunt for the biggest catch. His loyalty to the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves was unwavering, proudly supporting his teams through every victory and defeat. He always had a special Saturday morning routine devoted to buying his girl’s breakfast. But above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. Their laughter and love filled his heart, making those moments the highlight of his life.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Tyra Creasy of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Alan Creasy of Ocilla, Georgia; son, Jeremy Creasy (Amanda) of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Tristen Smith (Shane) of Winder, Georgia; grandchildren: Elora, Candler, Adalyn, Kevin, and Trista; brothers: Bubba Creasy (Lisa) of Valdosta, Georgia, Terry Creasy (Amy) of Valdosta, Georgia, Ray Creasy of Valdosta, Georgia, and Joey Creasy (Patricia) of Valdosta, Georgia; sister, Jennifer Salmela of Valdosta, Georgia; mother-in-law, Betty Simpson of Albertville, Alabama; 2 honorary daughters: Tiffany and Susannah; special fur baby, Little Bit; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
