Steven Eugene Davis Sr.

Steven Eugene Davis Sr., 77, of Valdosta passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. Steven was born April 27th, 1949, in Charleston, SC to the late Lonnie and Margaret (Greene) Davis.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. He was on the USS O’Brien and USS Shakori. He owned Steve Davis Cars and Trucks. He was known to be a very strong man that enjoyed cars, especially corvettes, and eating seafood. Along with his parents, Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his brother, Dana (Tony) Davis; brother-in-law, Tommy Griffis

Survivors include: beloved person who was always by his side, his ex-wives Linda Davis and Kelly Davis; sons, William Davis (Jill) and Steve Jr (Sed) Davis (Ashley); daughter, Karmen Davis; sister, Deborah Davis Griffis; grandchildren, Steven Davis III, Austin Davis, Savana Davis Trout, Carly Davis, William Davis Jr; great-grandchildren, Steven Davis IV, Harlow Davis, William Trout; nephews and nieces Kristopher Griffis, Kimberly Griffis Stahl, Dana Cook, and Melissa Evans.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
