Steven Benjamin Johnson Jr

Steven Benjamin Johnson, Jr., age 38, of Lake Park, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1983 in Adel, Georgia to the late Steven B. Johnson, Sr and to Jamie Carter. He was a loving dad to his son, Rhett. Steven loved to fish and hunt. He loved spending time outside and one of his favorite hobbies was playing golf. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Leatha Johnson, and by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Lee Carter.
He is survived by his Son, Jacob Rhett Johnson of Lake Park, Georgia;
mother, Jamie Carter (Mason) of Lake Park, Georgia; brothers, Charles Williams Jr (LeAnn) of Panama City, Florida, Dave Anderson (Lynette) of Lake Park, Georgia; the love of his life and mother of his child, Loraine Johnson of Lake Park, Georgia; stepson, Zane Church of Lake Park, Georgia; Stepmother, Cindy Johnson of Stockton, Georgia; Maternal Grandparents, James and Rosslyn Carter of Lake Park, Georgia; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery in Statenville, Georgia.
