Stuard Mackemore Blease, Jr "Pat" - 87
A lifelong resident of Barney, Georgia, "Pat" age 87 was born on October 8, 1923, the fourth of six children born to Stuard "Mack" Blease and Linnie Nichols Blease. He passed away peacefully on December 18, 2010. He was a farmer, mechanic, repairman, friend and local historian. A member of the Seventh-day Adventist church of Valdosta, Georgia, he loved to bring attention to the Bible as the most important guide for our lives. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Mary A. Blease.
He is survived by one sister, Christine, and a step-son Harry E. Roy and wife
Judy of North Carolina.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 29, 10:00am in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta, Georgia. Officiating will be Pastor John B. and Blainette Hanson. He rests beside Mary, awaiting the return of the Lord, in Campground Cemetery near Morven, Georgia.
