Susan Vaughn Barber

Of Lakeland passed away Monday evening, June 2, 2008, at the Lakeland Villa after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lanier County to the late Horace and Ruby Jones Vaughn. She lived in the Lanier County and the Berrien County area all of her life. She worked at Chaparral Boats in Nashville, Georgia and was Free Holiness by faith. She was preceded in death by one sister Wanda Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008 at New River Free Holiness with Bro. James McMillan officiating, burial following at New River Free Holiness Cemetery. At her request she will be carried home for visitation Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Danny Vaughn's residence: Rt 1 Box 346, Lakeland, Georgia and remain until the Funeral Service.
