Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 24, 1942 in Lakeland, GA to the late Lyman & Verlie (Stanley) Rowan. Mr. Rowan worked for Reames & Sons Construction for over 20 years. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Marie Rowan, brother, Pete Rowan & sister, Carolyn DiMatteo.Survivors Include: Daughter, Terri Brown, Valdosta; Grandson: Daniel Brown, Valdosta; Granddaughter: Kayla Brown, Valdosta; Great Grandchildren: Addison Brown, Charlotte Tyson & Ryder Brown and a number of nieces, nephews & extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in the Riverview Memorial Gardens. No formal visitation will be held.
