Terry Neal Criswell - 85
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS. He was born on June 21, 1933 in Pettit, MS to the late Oscar M. and Lois (Clemons) Criswell. Terry served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. After retirement Terry worked as a bowling alley manager with the Civil Service for 19 years. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Betty (Snelling) Criswell; Granddaughter, Shelly Renee Criswell, Sisters, Christine Wells, Helen Haney, Doris Criswell; Brothers, O.M. Criswell, Jr, Murray Criswell and Roy Criswell.
Survivors include his sons: Michael Criswell of Marietta, GA and Doug Criswell of Valdosta, GA; 2 grandchildren; Stacy and Bubba Shobert and Shane Criswell: 2 great grandchildren; Brody Shobert and Hynlee Jean Shobert; Brothers; Bernard Criswell of Greenville, MS, Norman and JoAnn Criswell of Greenville, MS; and Ronnie and Peggy Criswell of Little Rock Village, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at New Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the church. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
