Mrs. Apperson was of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Apperson, and her brothers, Charles Goddard, and Raymond L Goddard, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00A .M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta.
