Of Lakeland passed away Sunday, December 14, 2003 in Lakeland Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 8, 1913 in Berrien County and had lived in Lakeland for most of her life. Mrs. Cook was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. “Doc” Cook, one son, Leroy Cook and one daughter, Annie Laura Clanton.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial following in Empire Cemetery.
