Thirlene Annette White – 74
Resident of Ray City, GA and formerly of Lakeland, FL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1943 in Jasper, AL to the late Arthur and Louise (Elliott) Lankford. She was a devoted, loving wife for 54 years, a Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was Baptist by faith. She was a caregiver to her Mother in law for many years. As described by her son Richard, she was a life coach who nurtured and loved all creatures. She was a homemaker for many years, as well as worked in the family owned cabinet shop. She and her husband lived aboard their sailboat for 25 years, in which they embarked on many adventures. She assisted her husband in teaching at Tampa Sailing Squadron Youth Sailing Camp for many years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Rene White and very early pregnancy loss of twins.

Daughters & Son-in-Law; Sheri Dickey of Lakeland, FL, Teresa & Eddie Boley of Brandon, FL, Angela Hernandez of Lakeland, FL; Son & Daughter-in-Law; Richard & Siouxzen WhiteCloud of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Grandchildren; Brian, Erica, Ray IV, Jamie, Tabitha, Valerie, Aaron, Austin, Autumn, Kevin II, Christopher, Victoria, Adrian, Teakahla; Great Grandchildren; Emily, Brandon, Jamie, Zeynep; Brother; William A. Lankford of Houston, TX; Sister & Brother-in-Law; Deborah & Allen Horton of Hampton, VA; Close extended family members Chris and Debbie Palmes of Lakeland, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and two cats, Callie and Kitten, that adored her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (STOP) can be made by visiting their website
