Of Stockton, Georgia passed away Monday, June 5, 2006 after a battle with cancer. He was born December 26, 1946 in Lowndes County, Georgia. He worked as a environmental inspector with McDaniel Technical Company. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Stockton Baptist Church, Greenwood Hunting Club and the Lanier Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Bowling and a half brother, Henry Bowling.

Funeral service were held Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Stockton Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Lovejoy Cemetery. Rev. Mike Frazier will officiate.
