Thomas E. Conine

Of Camilla, Georgia passed away at his residence Wednesday morning, October 27, 2010 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Hazlehurst, Georgia on April 7, 1938 to the late Rufus & Floella New Conine. He worked as VP of Timber for Camilla Wood Preserving. He was later promoted to Corporate VP of Timber by the Corporate Company International Utility Corporation. He became part owner in a Timber Pole Company in Slocum, Alabama until his retirement. He attended Hopeful Baptist Church on Bainbridge Hwy outside of Camilla, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October, 29, 2010 in the Hopeful Baptist Church on Bainbridge Hwy outside of Camilla, Georgia with burial in the church cemetery. He will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. The family will receive friends at Music Funeral Services Lakeland location Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
