Thomas "Catfish" Jefferson Williams

Thomas “Catfish” Jefferson Williams, 94, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away, Monday, January 17, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family. Thomas was born on September 29, 1927, in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Mable Anderson Williams and Angus Jefferson Williams. He was retired from Owens Illinois as a Welder/Maintence Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sally Lorraine Davis Williams.
Survivors include his children: Jimmy Williams (Mary Strom Williams) of Lake Park, Georgia, Gelaine W. Foster (Dewey) of Valdosta, Georgia and Sherri W. Gregory (Glenn) of Lake Park, Georgia; five grandchildren: Jeff, Brittney, David, Chip and Lori; twelve great-grandchildren: Drew, Charlette, Foster, Kylie, Addison, Hadley, Emma, Emelia, Wright, Sassy, Carlton and Ginger; a special niece, Karen Davis of Valdosta, Georgia and a special cousin, Lester Walker (Rachael) Perry, Georgia.
Due to Covid, the services will be private. Interment will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made to the Langdale Hospice or to the charity of your choice. Per the family’s request, please no food.
