Of Lakeland passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 in Langdale Hospice House. He was born on June 6, 1949 in Pinellas County, FL. to the late Thomas Edward, Sr. and Christine Waller Mathis. He was employed at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers and retired from Willacoochee Industrial Fabrics. Mr. Mathis served his country in the United State Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his, Brothers & Sister-in-law, Jimmy Mathis Theresa, Lakeland, GA, David Earl Mathis, Rome, GA; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Betty Smith, Willacoochee, GA, Dottie Woods Ron, Nashville, GA, Marsha Yusko David, Cross City, FL; A number of Nieces and Nephews
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
