Of Lakeland, GA passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta after a lengthy illness. He was born July 12, 1942 in Statesboro, GA to the late Brooks B. and Pinky Dell White. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years. After retiring as Chief Master Sergeant from Moody Air Force Base, he continued to make his home in Lakeland, GA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, brother, Jack White, sisters, Lena Brooks Stone, Benny Lambrecht and Betty Groover.
Survivors include his Daughters & Son-in-Law, Chandra White & Richard Cordova of Warner Robins, GA,
Deirdre White of Warner Robins, GA; Former Wife, Jeanette Dickey Corbett of Warner Robins, GA;
Partner, Linda Lewis Helms of Lakeland, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Turkey Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield, GA. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
