Thomas Eugene Rees – 78
Of Valdosta passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Clinton, Illinois to the late David and Caroline Grower Rees. He was a retired Crew Chief with the United States Army. He loved to fish and watch TV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Mike Ledbetter and all of his siblings. After retiring from the Army, he worked at Wal-Mart as a floor associate.
Survivors include: Loving wife of 52 years, Martha Rees of Valdosta, Georgia; half-brothers Randy Cribb (Anette), LC Cribb (Norma), and Robert Taylor (Miranda).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with interment following in the Riverview Memorial Gardens where full military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Kind words and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
