Thomas Eugene Rees – 78
Of Valdosta passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Clinton, Illinois to the late David and Caroline Grower Rees. He was a retired Crew Chief with the United States Army. He loved to fish and watch TV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Mike Ledbetter and all of his siblings. After retiring from the Army, he worked at Wal-Mart as a floor associate.
Survivors include: Loving wife of 52 years, Martha Rees of Valdosta, Georgia; half-brothers Randy Cribb (Anette), LC Cribb (Norma), and Robert Taylor (Miranda).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with interment following in the Riverview Memorial Gardens where full military honors will be rendered.
