Thomas Ned Shea – 90
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, peacefully at his home with family by his side. He was born on June 20, 1933, in Greenville, Florida to the late Lester Shea and Nettie Brannen Shea. Thomas served his country in Korea for a few years. He worked with Owen-Illinois Paper Mill and Georgia Pacific for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing and reading. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Glenn, Bill, Oswell, and Malcolm Lester; sisters: Del Ray Miller and Inez Pridgen of Lake Park, Georgia;
Survivors include:
Wife, Martha Shea of Valdosta, Georgia;
Daughter, Kimberly Kay Shea of Kansas City, Missouri;
Son, Christopher Thomas Shea (Coffee) of Austin, Texas;
Daughter, Sabrina and Dean Hancock of Anderson City, Georgia;
Son, Christopher Nobles (Kaci) of Valdosta, Georgia;
Grandchildren: Allison Shea, Tommy Shea, Hunter (Hannah) Hancock, Dalton Hancock, Skylar Nobles;
Sister, Jimmie Roberts of Cherry Lake, Florida;
Sister, Mary Lou White of Anniston, Alabama;
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, May 13, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
