Thomas Vaughn Stubbs

Thomas Vaughn Stubbs – 82 of Naylor, GA passed away on Monday August 31, 2020 in the South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on March 8, 1938 in Hahira, GA to the late Robbie (Webb) and Thomas “Doodle” Stubbs. Mr. Vaughn served his country in the United States Army Reserves and retired as a mechanic for the Lowndes County Board of Education Transportation Department. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching the birds, squirrels, cars go by and visits with his neighbors and friends. He was a soft spoken, gentle kind man who loved his family dearly. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Carolyn (Thomas) Stubbs.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Vonda and Steven Hendricks of Homerville, GA; Grandchildren: April and Lee Music, Clint Browning, Kacee Crosby, Dustin Hendricks, Dallen Hendricks; Great Grandchildren: Kason and Jaxson Crosby; Sister, Linda Burkhalter of Valdosta, GA; Sister and brother-in-law, Leba and Benny Fullwood of Lakeland, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service for Mr. Stubbs will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA. Kind thoughts can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Stubbs family is being served by the staff at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
