Thomas E. Yeomans

Thomas E. Yeomans – 69 of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 after years of declining health. He was the oldest child of the late Plant Freeman and Margaret Pierce Yeomans, born in August of 1950. He attended Lanier County Highschool and worked for Nashville Mills most of his working career. He married Geraldine Pridgen of Hazlehurst, Georgia on November 27, 1970. Together they had one son, David Kelly, born in 1977. Tommy joined Lakeland/Lanier Fire Rescue, and was an active firefighter from 1987 until his health decline in 2017. Along with his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his son, David Kelly.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Geraldine of Lakeland, GA; sister and Brother-in-law: Diane and Chandler Sirmans of Lakeland, GA; brother, Bill Yeomans of Quitman, GA; brother and Sister-in-Law, Gary and Lori Yeomans of Lakeland, GA; a close family friend, Lue Roe Singleton of Lakeland, GA; a number of nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside for Tommy will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2020 in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland, GA.
