Timothy “Tim” Allen Lehman, 78, of Lake Park, Georgia, formally of Valdosta, passed away peacefully at Langdale Hospice House surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, June 14, 2026. He was born on December 2, 1947, in Hahira Georgia to the late Julian Lovett “Jim” Lehman Sr. and Mildred Lord Lehman.
Tim attended Lowndes County schools before he joined the family roofing business which he operated for over 50 years. Tim was a member of Harvest Church of God. He was a man of deep and abiding faith, whose love for the Lord guided every step of his life. Devoted to his family he found his greatest joy in the time he spent with those he loved most. He loved going on family trips to the beach, trips to the mountains and spending time at the hunting camp. His kind heart and unwavering Christian values left a lasting mark on all that knew him. He will be remembered not only for the life he left but for the love and faith he generously gave.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Lehman of Lake Park; his son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Lori Lehman of Valdosta; his daughter and son-in-law Heather and Jeremy Kinsey of Madison, Florida; step son, Chris (Cindy) Turner of Valdosta, step daughter, Angie Turner and his beloved grandchildren, Justin Lehman, Dawson Lehman, Sawyer Lehman, Easton Lehman, Halle Kinsey, Brenda Kate Kinsey, Jared Kinsey, Taylor Kinsey; great-grandchildren, Markus Lehman, Kysen Cribb and Blair Kervin; beloved step grandchildren, Ciera (Pedro) Beltran of Valdosta, Shelbie (Logan) Miley of Valdosta, Taylor Gibson of Adel and Chris Jr (Jordan) Turner of Valdosta, Gage (Rosanna) Turner of Salt Lake City, UT and Jamie Yelverton Jr. of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law Betty and David Lightsey; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Eddie Roberts; sister-in-law Shirley Lehman; step great grandchildren, Owen and Charlie Mack Lewis, Jessie Mae Dimick, Zander and Malachi Turner, Isabelle Beltran, Kaleb, Elizabeth and Ava Turner, Emmy Lou Ziegler and Vallen and June Miley and several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Brenda Grace Smith Lehman; a son Mark Brian Lehman; and a brother, Julian Lehman, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial to follow the service at Friendship Cemetery. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
