Tim Register

Tim Register – 48 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. Timothy was born on July 20, 1972 in Nashville, Georgia to Gail Maine Register Fussell of Valdosta and the late Troy Marcus Register. He served in the United States Navy on various submarines. After retirement, he worked with the Valdosta Regional Airport as the Operation Manager since 2008. Tim was a patriot to his country, the cornerstone to his family, a husband, father, grandfather, son and friend. If there was a project to do, he was 110% in, whether it was his or any of his friends, he was committed! Tim enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, dirt track racing, fishing, hunting and hanging out at “The Little House”.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Brenda Jackson Register of Valdosta, GA; Children: Tori Joyal and husband Bradley of Hahira, GA, Grant Register and fiancé Nicole Rewis of Valdosta, GA, Donavon Register and wife Karina of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Reagan Joyal, Ava Register, Mia Smith; Mother and Father, Gail and DeDe Fussell of Valdosta, GA; Brother, Greg Register and wife Julie of Valdosta, GA; Father-in-law, James Jackson of Sarasota, FL; Sister-in-law, Amy Johnson of Patterson, GA; Brother-in-law, Danny Swails and wife Laura of Hahira, GA; Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery (6214 George Rd. Lake Park, GA 31606). The family will receive friends on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy can be left at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
