A woman like Tina is not just one in a million; she was a rare soul. The kind of person you do not meet often enough, and her spirit is a significant loss to all her family, friends, and the community she touched. She leaves behind her lifelong partner, Steve, her daughter and best friend, Tiffany, and her two grandchildren, Taryn and Jenna, who will perpetually love and miss her. She was a fighter and the strongest woman I have ever known; she gave cancer one hell of a fight. There is comfort in knowing she is not in pain anymore and is finally able to rest. Her loss is mourned, and she will forever be missed by all who knew her. My mom had the biggest heart; she would always be there to teach us something about life. She might let you fail first so the lesson could be learned, but she was always there to help you get back on the right path, lending a hand but never a handout. She would give you the advice and tools, but it was up to you to put in the work. Tina was a hard-working woman who loved her family and friends very much. From her early teenage years, she was self-reliant. She shared the lessons she learned along the way. For years, she worked at various places before settling in Georgia at the FarmHouse Restaurant, where she stayed for 20+ years. She enjoyed cutting up, joking around, and giving people a hard time, which made her endearing to everyone who frequented. With her quick and witty comebacks, she was not one to get over on easily-- you never knew what she might say next. Many had tried still, Tina was the Queen and was adored for her personality and soul. She leaves behind many who thought the world of her and wished to be half the woman she was. The loss of such an amazing woman will be felt for a long time. We can rest in the fact that she is in a better place, or maybe she will be reincarnated as a bird to come back to taunt us all. We love you, Tina, aka Mom and Grandmawmaw, and you are missed very much!!
