Of Ray City, passed away early Wednesday, January 10, 2007, afternoon after a lengthy illness at his residence. Mr. Smith was born in Naylor Georgia to the late Caulie & Merritta Bass Smith. Mr. Smith worked for 43 Years at moodt Air Force Base as a heavy Equipment Operator and served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include:Wife, Ann Smith, Ray City, GA, Son, Tommy Smith, Ray City, GA, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Susie & Jeff Kortin, Nashville, Ga, Grandchildren:Joe Kilpatrick, Jr., Jennifer Smith, Justin Smith, Thomas Smith, Travis Harrell, Numerous Brother & Sisters in-Laws, Several Nieces and Nephews
Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2006 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
