Tommy was a fleet mechanic for Georgia Power for over 32 years. He was well known for being a family man. Spending time with his grandchildren was a favorite of his. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Emory Griffis.
His survivors include his wife of 45 years, Deborah Griffis of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Kimberly and husband, James Stahl of Aockwall, TX; Son, Kristopher Griffis of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren: Logan and husband, Justin Willis, Clayton Davis Griffis, Thomas Cole Griffis,London Olivia Stahl,Abigail Margaret Griffis,Presley Winter Stahl,And Emily Elizabeth Hastings;Mother-in-Law, Margaret Greene Davis of Valdosta, GA; A number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church. For friends of the family the service will be livestreamed on Music Funeral Services Facebook page at 11:00 AM on Friday April 3, 2020.
