Tresa "Diann" Akins Green Gaudry – 61
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 8, 1955 in Valdosta, GA to Odis Owen and Mary Alice Martin Akins. She was an Advocate for the Haven, serving in the community helping victims of domestic violence for over 23 years. She loved riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR. Her favorite passion was cooking a meal for her family on Sundays and she was a member of the Azalea City Church of God. Diann was a devoted mother who loved all her children and grandchildren.

Grandchildren, Makinzie Eunice, Dakota Green, Jalynn Green, Emily Gaudry; Brother, Ronnie Akins of Hahira, GA; Brother & Sister-in-Law, Steve & Debbie Akins of Valdosta, GA; Nephews, Michael Akins of Valdosta, GA, Danny Akins of Morven, GA, Stephen Akins of Valdosta, GA; Niece, Stepheny Akins of Leesburg, GA; Her beloved furry companion, Zoey, who never left her side; numerous of great nieces, nephews, extended family member and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Hahira, GA.
