of Hahira, passed away December 26, 2007 at the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. He was born October 14, 1918 in Ty Ty, Georgia to the late James & Melissa Wilkes Baker. He was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church and retired from Coca-Cola after working 45 years. He was also an honorary member of the Sheriffs Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Drew Baker, 2 Sons, Jerry Webster & Troy Webster, Jr., 4 Brothers & 4 Sisters.
Survivors include: Granddaughter, Shannun & Dennis Canete, Hahira, Ga.; Grandson, Brock Baker, Jefferson City, MO.; 3 Great Grandchildren, Chloe, Genevie & Keoni Canete; Sister, Louise Weatherington , Hahira, Ga.; Brother, John & Mary Baker, Valdosta, Ga.; Brother-in-law , Kenneth & Nina Drew, Valdosta, Ga.; Sister-in-law, Cyledia Drew, Valdosta, Ga. and a number of Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2007 in the Hahira First Baptist Church with burial following at Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Baker will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
