In Loving Memory of Troy Edward Cribb
Troy Edward Cribb, 79, passed away at his residence leaving behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory and the many special moments they shared with him.
Troy was a devoted family man who treasured spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He especially loved aggravating his grandbabies, making memories with them, and bringing his own special kind of joy to family gatherings. Those who knew him will remember his love for his family, his playful spirit, and the lasting impression he made on the lives of those around him.
Troy was a master craftsman who took great pride in woodworking. He had a talent for working with his hands, and his craftsmanship will remain a lasting part of the legacy he leaves behind. He enjoyed feeding the chickens and reminiscing on times past.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Martha Gay, who passed away in 2000; his parents, Marshall and Ethel; his brother, Alvin; his sister, Evelyn; and his granddaughter, Amanda Waychoff. He was also preceded by his dog who passed earlier this year, Bear, who never left his side.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Eddie (Rachel) Cribbs, Carol (Nathan) Rackley, and Pam (Keith) Gipson; his grandchildren, Kelly Cribbs, Gene (Melanie) Waychoff, Cory Waychoff, Kelly (Jordyn) Waychoff, Brittney Spence, Melanie (Ryan) Cannon, Cortney (Wes) Wilson, and Jarret (Aly) Gipson; and his 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Talmadge Cribbs, Margie (Marty) Moore, and Elton Cribbs.
Serving as pallbearers are Jarret Gipson, Liam Webb, Wes Wilson, Ryan Cannon, Gene Waychoff, and Cory Waychoff.
Troy’s family will forever hold close memories of his laughter, his love, and the special way he made life a little more fun for those around him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the generations of family he leaves behind and the countless memories that will continue to bring smiles to their faces.
