Trudy Chastain Calhoun

Trudy Calhoun – 64 of Valdosta passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 13, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1954 to Rayburn and Eunice Chastain in Thomasville, Georgia. Mrs. Calhoun was married for 47 years to the love of her life, Charles Calhoun, Sr. Trudy enjoyed watching Star Trek, playing scrabble and she particularly loved writing. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, son, Charles “Artie” Calhoun, Jr., sisters - Lois Flanagan and Mary Aldridge, and her brother, Buddy Chastain.
Mrs. Trudy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Joey Jarvis; brother and sister-in-law, Joey and Elaine Chastain; grandchildren, Chad Calhoun, Valerie Calhoun, Chase Calhoun and Jessica & Roy Lisk; great granddaughter, Gracie Stone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
