Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home after a short illness. He was born on November 2, 1937 in Lakeland, GA to Dave and Georgia (Noles) Starling. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a sales manager for Pipkin Motors for 35 years. He enjoyed being outdoors and growing many vegetables and fruits. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Alan Starling.
Survivors include his Wife, Donna J. Starling of Valdosta, GA; Sons, Eric David Starling(Heidi) of Ravenna, OH, Alex Scott Starling (Wendy) 0f Cleveland, TN; Brother, Hank Starling of Ray City, GA; Grandchildren, Alexis Suzzane Starling, Andrew Scott Starling, Faith Ana Starling, Luke Josiah Starling; And numerous nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Burnt Church Cemetery in Lakeland, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
