Vernell (Cook) Clark – 83 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Thursday April 9, 2020 in her home. She was born on April 13, 1936 in Nashville, GA to the late Alvie Cook and Kizzie Ruth (Hornage) Barnowski. She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved to cook and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife to her late husband, David Clark, and a loving mother to her 5 children. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Carrol Wayne Hunter and 2 brothers, Albert Cook and Jimmy Cook.
Survivors include her Sons and Daughters-in-law, Gary and Trish Hunter of Woodstock, GA, Kenneth Hunter of Valdosta, GA, Mike Hunter of Cordele, GA, Robin and Melissa Hunter of Bunnell, FL, Scott and Sabrina Hunter of Vinings, GA; 13 Grandchildren: Derick, Gregory, Kasey, Jerrica, Jamie, Jordey, Jenna, Misti, Robyn, Nick, Jake, Mary, Carrie; 20 Great Grandchildren: Joseph, David, Abby, Camdyn, Aidynn, Gunner, Amya, Landon, Dagney, Harrison, A.J., Kolton, Nya, Chase, Tanner, Harper, Caden, Kaly, Jacob, Canon; Sisters and Brother-in-laws, Dean and Troy Hewitt of Valdosta, GA, Chris and Jerry Becker of Nashville, GA, Tammy and Dwayne Steverson of Alapaha, GA.
