Vernon Lloyd Dorminey

Vernon Lloyd Dorminey – 91 of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday August 9, 2020 at Langdale Hospice House after an illness. Vernon was born on September 21, 1928 in Valdosta, GA to the late Trudy Leggett Dorminey. He worked many years at Napa Automotive as a mechanic, before branching out to start his own business. Vernon enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being in the outdoors. Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Chester Leggett, Jack Leggett, Arcey Leggett, and Billy Leggett.
Survivors include his brothers: Calvin Dorminey of Valdosta, GA, Howard Leggett of Lakeland, GA; Nephew, Russell Dorminey of Valdosta, GA; Niece, Sylvia Roberts of Naylor, GA.
Graveside services for Mr. Dorminey will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 12, 2020 in the Burnt Church Cemetery in Lakeland, GA. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to services.
