Vernon Joe Terry

Vernon Joe Terry – 59 of Valdosta passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born on July 24, 1959 in Cedartown, GA to the late Milford & Dorothy (Weddington) Terry. Mr. Terry served in the United States Navy. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy (Rickman) Terry and brother, Wayne Terry.
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters & Son-in-law: Christal & Randall Jones, Cleveland, TN, Sherry “Nikki” Terry, Newport, TN; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Steven Terry, Gainesville, FL, Allen Terry, Gainesville, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Stockton Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held.
