Of Lakeland, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 after a sudden illness. She was born October 6, 1952 in Clyattville, Georgia to the late Roy R.E. and Coye Dell Coody Hooker. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kenneth Easter, Sr.; brother, Robert Hooker; Sister-In-Law, Tammy Hooker, special friend, Nana Kennedy.
Survivors include:Son & Daughter-In-Law, Paul & Gwen Easter Jr., Lanier County, 2 Daughters, Jennifer E. Watts, Stephanie Denise Scoggin, Lanier County, 3 Grandchildren: Ashley Watts, William Watts, and Mariah Lyn Holland, 3 Brothers, Gene & Bobby Ann Coody, Valdosta, GA, Archie Hooker, Lanier County, Timothy Hooker, Macon, GA, 3 Sisters, Lauralene & Ray Kennedy, Southwick, MA, Pat Cowart, Valdosta, GA, Susan Higginbotham, Lowndes County, Special Friends: Diedre Russell and Willie & Janice Cloutier. A number of Special Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 9, 2008 11:00 a.m. until service.
