Vicky Folsom Luke – 75
Of Valdosta passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on January 12, 1943 in Quitman, GA to the late Tom & Sara (Crane) Capien. She worked as a parapro for the Lowndes County School System, as the director of the Humpty Dumpty Day Care and Happy Time Day Care. She enjoyed nature, working in her yard and spending time with her pets. Ms. Luke was an active member of Westside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 45 years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Luke and Lonnie J. Folsom and sister, Beriel Sullivan.
Survivors Include: Son & Daughter-in-law: Keith & Jennifer Folsom, Valdosta, GA; Granddaughters: Paige Folsom & Lacey Folsom; Great Granddaughter: Mckenzie Lynn Pappas; Sister & Brother-in-law: Debora & Billy Brantley, Jennings, FL; Aunt: Martha Sangster, Quitman, GA; Sister-in-law: Verna & Rev. Harold Smith, Donaldsonville, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Welcome Hill Cemetery.
