Virginia L. Ganas – 79 of Naylor passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Lakeland Villas after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 10, 1939 in Hahira, GA to the late RM & Maggie (Bass) Pierce. She was a member of Pleasant Way Baptist Church. Mrs. Virginia worked with Winn-Dixie as a florist for over 12 years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Ford; brother, Roy Pierce and sister, Jean Permenter.
Survivors Include: Husband of 45 years, Winston Ganas, Naylor; 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law: Ricky & Lynn Ford, Ray City, Terry Ford, Lakeland; 4 Grandchildren: Donald Ford, John David Ford, Allen Ford (Elizabeth Sears) & Alex Ford; 4 Great Grandchildren: Hailey Ford, Connor Ford, Emory Ford & Aubrey Ford; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Sandra & Larry Luke, Lakeland, Sharon & Freddie Ramsey, Valdosta, Barbara Murray, Lakeland, Brenda Ray, Jacksonville, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in the Ford Family Cemetery, Berrien County, GA.
