Of Valdosta passed away Thursday Afternoon March 17, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born August 19, 1934 in Havana, Fl. to the late David and Margaret Wiggins. During Most of her life she lived and worked in Adel as a Bank Teller at Farmers and Merchants Bank. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Adel. One of her greatest joys was sitting on the front of her boat on the Suwannee River Fishing. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David L. Wiggins, Jr. and Floyd R. Wiggins. Survivors Include: Husband, E.L. Wilkerson, Valdosta, Ga., 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law, Michael Wilkerson, Plantation, Fl, Jerry L. and Debra Wilkerson, Lakeland, Ga., Terry L. and Sylvia Wilkerson, Sparks, Ga.; Grandchildren: Randall Wilkerson, Chris Wilkerson, Adam Wilkerson, Jessica Griffis, Tamara Castleberry, Brandon Lucas and Lee Wilkerson; Great-Grandchildren: Braden Castleberry, Brentley Castleberry and Haleigh Lucas, Sisters, Carolyn Beckham, Hawkinsville, Ga., Beatrice Oliver, Valdosta, Ga, Elaine Hubbard, New York, NY, Brothers, James T. Wiggins, Pearson, Ga., Ben Wiggins, Valdosta, Ga. A number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services werwe held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2005 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. As per Mrs. Wilkerson’s request she will be cremated following services.
