Voncile Fleming Slone – 87

Of Lakeland passed away early Friday Night Dec.10, 2004 in South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta after a lengthy illness. She was born in Coffee County, Alabama and had lived in Lakeland Most of her life. She was a member of the Real Club, Widows Club, a Pink Lady at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland. A member of the First Baptist Church in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband Denney Wood Slone, and a brother Murphy R. Fleming.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 13, 2004 in the First Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Slone will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to services.
