Wade Lee Griffith – 65
Of Hahira passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 2, 1946 in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Walter Griffith and Clair Mitchell Griffith of Harrisburg, PA. He worked in Broadcasting TV and radio for over 30 years. He served in the United States Army and as a Captain in the 75th Ranger Battalion. Mr. Griffith was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Griffith and Brother, David Griffith.

As per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 9, 2012 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of your choice. Music Funeral Services/Azalea Crematory is serving the Griffith family.
