Passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 in Berrien Nursing Center in Nashville, GA after a brief illness. He was born on June 25, 1930 to the late Lewis Preston & Leona Royal Clanton. He served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Mitch Clanton, spouse, Ann Clanton and a sister, Juanita Howard.

Granddaughter Amber Stanfield Lakeland, GA
Great Granddaughter Gracelyn Lee Lakeland, GA
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service at a later date.
