Wallace Melton Colley

Of Lakeland, passed away at his residence Thursday, July 24, 2008. He was born June 1, 1943 in Albany, Georgia to the late Willie Nathaniel and Victoria Melton Colley. He worked as a shipping manager at Brockway for 30 years. He was a member of the Lakeland United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Colley, 4 sisters, Johnnie Jennings, Mavis Waldron, Ethel Saunders, Juanita Bateman, 3 brothers, W.L. Colley, Jack Colley and Willie Colley.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Wayfare Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
