Warren Ted Spradley, Sr. – 65

Of Lakeland passed away Early Sunday morning Aug. 8, 2004 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Tifton, GA Feb. 14, 1939 to the late Elizabeth Bishop and Elijah Spradley. He was also preceded in death by a brother Dan Spradley Mr. Spradley was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the 82nd Airborn division, a member of the Robert Butler Masonic Lodge in Tallahassee, FL for 40 years. He owned and operated Spradley’s 5&10 in Statesboro, Brooklet, Lakeland and Pearson for more than 35 years. A member of the First Baptist Church in Lakeland for 30 years, his faith in Jesus Christ allowed him to put his family first, being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M Monday Aug. 9, 2004 in the First Baptist Church in Lakeland with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
