Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Valdosta after a sudden illness. He was born March 2, 1943 in Adel, GA to the late Albert & Myrtle Harnage Lott. He worked as a truck driver for the Salvation Army for many years. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing & going to the grocery store for his wife. He served in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. His granddaughter, Sharon Lott and brother, Johnny Lott preceded him in death.
Survivors Include: wife of 52 years, Alice Lott, Valdosta; 3 sons & daughters-in-laws: Chris & Ruby Lott, Pennsboro, WV, Greg & Missy Lott, Hiran, GA, Troy Lott Barbara Sherrill, Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: C.J. Lott, Cassondra Lott, Neil Lott, Savannah Lott, Brianna Pennington & Ivey Lott; 2 brothers & sisters-in-laws: Larry & Becky Lott, Jacksonville, FL, David & Diane Lott, Houston, TX; Furry 4 legged friend: Isabell aka Izzy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 13, 2016 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
