Wayne Ganas

Jack “Wayne” Ganas – 71 of Naylor, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 15, 2020, after declining health. Wayne was born on July 11, 1949 in Lowndes County, GA to the late Virginia Thomas and Benjamin Connie Ganas. He worked many years in the farming industry before going on to own and operate his own company; Ganas Timber. Wayne will always be remembered for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family, with his favorite being family trips to the mountains. He loved to watch and “act out” boxing. In his earlier years, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann Newsome Ganas of Naylor, GA; Daughters: Tracy G. Jaramillo and husband Danny of Hahira, GA, Kelli G. Jaramillo and husband Carl of Hahira, GA, Mandy G. Delk and husband Brad of Stockton, GA; Grandchildren: Jake, Jude, Dylan, and Georgia; Brother, Winston Ganas of Naylor, GA; Sisters: Willadine G. Rampey and husband Jimmy of Ray City, GA, Helen G. Sowell and husband Robert of Lake Park, GA. A favorite aunt and uncle: Benny and Leba Fullwood of Lakeland, Georgia
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 19, 2020 in the Good Hope Cemetery in Naylor, GA. The family will greet friends at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to services. The family asks that social distancing guidelines be followed.
