Of Lakeland passed away at his residence Wednesday December 7, 2005. He was a loving Son, Brother and Uncle. JR was born on Aug. 22, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Wayne & Nuan Mitchell.

Survivors include: Mother & Father- Wayne & Nuan Mitchell, Sr. Lakeland, Ga.. Sister- Mary Mitchell Bennett, Niece, Summer Bennett, Nephew, Tate Bennett all of Lakeland, Ga.; Sister, Michelle Mitchell Whitmore, Brother-in-Law, Larry Whitmore, Niece, Hailey Whitmore , Texas; Sister, Malaeng Butler, Brother-in-Law, John Butler, Nieces, Jennifer & JoAnn Butler, Ft. Walton Beach, Fl; Daughter, Alyssa Marie, Lakeland, Ga. Grandmother, Roberta Mitchell, Florida; Uncle, Gary Mitchell, Florida; JR was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Fred Mitchell of Florida.


Funeral services were held December 10, 2005 at 7:00 PM in Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Rev. Bill Watson officiated.
