Of Valdosta passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Lowndes County on April 22, 1941 to the late Benjamin Ira & Annie Mae Bailey Moore. He enjoyed riding around to fellowship with family and friends, watching sports especially racing and boxing on television. Mr. Moore was a member of Naylor Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, 1 sister, 4 brothers and a son-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of Ann Dukes, 3738 Glen Meade Drive, Valdosta, GA. 31601.
