Wayne Matthew Rice

Wayne Matthew Rice, age 60, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away, Monday, April 18, 2022 at his residence. Wayne was born on April 26, 1961, in Hahira, Georgia to the late Perry Artemus Rice and Nellie Haneveer Rice, who survives of Ray City, Georgia. Wayne enjoyed anything outside, and especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing horseshoes with his family and friends. He was a carpenter and fabricator with Greg Weaver Construction. He was preceded in death by his father; half-brother, William Rice and a niece, Kelly Ellis.
In addition to his mother; survivors include his daughter, Jamie Craig of Atlantic Beach, Florida; two grandchildren; his siblings, Tina R. Ray and husband Gary of Ray City, Georgia, Perry “Temus” Rice and Gary Rice and companion Pepper Skinner all of Nashville, Georgia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life for Wayne Matthew Rice will be held at 11O’clock AM, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland Chapel.
