Went to be with her Lord Monday, December 9, 2013 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born November 6, 1957 to Les & Coral Moore in Tampa, Florida. Wendy Graduated from Oxford Academy in Oxford, NY, was a Beautician in Valdosta, GA for 10 years, and was a Correctional Officer at Valdosta State Prison for 25 Years. Wendy was an avid cat and dog lover and leaves behind many four legged friends of her own. No one has really lost the sunshine of Wendy, Just think of her and a smile will cross your face. To her many friends she leaves her devilish-happy spirit. God always chooses the best flower from his garden. She is preceded in death by her Sister Abby Dee Moore Smith and Brother Todd L. Moore.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services in Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family request that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the Pearlman Cancer Center of Valdosta.
